The Paintbrush Afraid of the Blank Page
Bristle stood frozen in front of a big blank canvas, too afraid that her first stroke would ruin everything. A gentle bedtime story about the fear of starting, one small brave mark, and the whole world that grew from it. For every little one afraid to begin.
Bristle stood frozen before the blank white page. Other brushes dipped and danced, painting without fear. Bristle longed to make something beautiful too.
She dipped into color, lifting toward white. A drop splattered, and she flinched far away. She sat untouched, her bristles slowly drying out.
She feared her first stroke was wrong. The empty studio left the canvas blank. The old splatter dried into a pretty shape.
Bristle took a breath, and dipped in again. She swept one bold stroke, then another. Small marks grew braver, spreading color everywhere.
A single brave stroke became a whole world.
