Luna shone bright on the meteor night. Every night, Luna lit the whole valley alone. Nobody looks up at me on meteor nights.
She almost blazed full to outshine them all. A small child wished on a falling star. Luna understood what the small wish needed most.
She dimmed her light and watched them shine. The sky exploded into its greatest show yet. The whole valley gasped up at the stars.
A few meteors circled back to thank her. Slowly, the falling stars grew fewer and fewer. At dawn, the valley whispered thanks to darkness.
Luna returned bright, having taught the sky kindness.
