The Kitten Who Feared Her Own Shadow
One moonlit night a dark shape began to follow Mochi everywhere, copying her every step โ and the little kitten was sure it was a monster. A gentle bedtime story about the parts of ourselves we are afraid of, and the quiet moment a kitten learns her shadow is not a monster at all, but proof that she shines. For every little one afraid of the dark.

One moonlit night, a dark shape followed Mochi. It copied every step the kitten took. Mochi ran, but it would not leave.
She darted and leapt but it stayed. Faster and faster, she tried to escape. Cornered and trembling, she could not get away.
The dark shape had her, small and afraid. A cloud crossed the moon and it vanished. Suddenly alone, Mochi felt strangely incomplete.
The moon returned, and so did her shadow. It was hers because she caught light. So Mochi danced, and her shadow danced too.
Now she sleeps curled beside her moonlit friend.
