Nibs siblings dove and cracked and raced. Her siblings shined at everything they tried. Nib dove, but came up far too soon.
She dropped shell after shell, cracking none. Nib thought she was good at nothing. She sat apart, watching them play without her.
Then a tiny pup drifted into the current. Her siblings dove fast but missed him. Nib slipped into the water to help.
