Toot was the smallest boat in the harbor. Huge ships towed cargo twice their size. Toot puffed his stack and asked to help.
He tied his rope to the heavy load. The rope went slack and would not budge. Too little, they laughed, for any real work.
Toot sat alone at the empty dock. Thick fog rolled in, swallowing the harbor whole. A great ship vanished, lost inside the fog.
When fog swallowed the ship, Toot led. Toot slipped into the fog, small and steady. He nosed the great ship through the grey.
The tiniest boat brought the giant safely home.
