Kal and the Turning Galaxies — an animated bedtime story for kids

Kal rattled with loose broken glass. He was sure he was only junk. Loose glass chips tumbled inside him.

The shiny toys sat proud and whole. No one wants a thing so broken. He tucked himself into the old trunk.

There he sat, ashamed and dim. Then a child opened the trunk lid. She turned him toward the round window.

The broken chips bloomed into turning galaxies. The child gasped at the endless colors. His broken pieces were the wonder all along.

Now Kal turns new galaxies every day.
