Plip and the Long Way Home
Plip watches himself shrink smaller and smaller under the warm sun, sure that drying up means disappearing forever. But vanishing is not the end, he rises as mist, becomes a cloud, and falls again as rain, splashing right back home. For every little one who is scared of change and endings.

After the rain, a puddle filled the courtyard. Then the sun climbed warm and high. Plip felt himself growing smaller.
His shiny edges shrank away. He was sure he would soon vanish. He said goodbye to the little plant.
Only a tiny bit of him remained. Then he lifted, soft, into the air. He rose and gathered into a cloud.
The cloud drifted back over the courtyard. And fell again as fresh new rain. Plip splashed right back where he began.
Now Plip knows he never truly ends.
