The Peacock Who Danced Alone

Roa fanned the most dazzling tail in the jungle, and he wanted every show to be his own โ€” until he was dazzling to an empty clearing with no one left to watch. A gentle bedtime story about hogging the spotlight, and the day a shy little bird taught a proud peacock that the brightest stage is the one you share. For every little one learning to take turns.

The Peacock Who Danced Alone โ€” an animated bedtime story for kids

Every eye in the jungle belonged to Roa. He fanned his tail and the clearing gasped. Roa danced and dazzled, and never stopped.

He wanted every show to be his own. Others waited for a turn that never came. One by one, they quietly drifted away.

Roa spun brighter, to an empty clearing. He dazzled alone, and no one was there. A small shy bird lingered, afraid to try.

So Roa spread his tail as her stage. She sang, and the whole jungle crept back. Each took a turn, and Roa cheered loudest.

Now the clearing shines with everyones colors.
