Silk and the Unfinished Web
Every night Silk wove a web. Every dawn she found one flaw and tore it all down again, never finished, never resting. A gentle bedtime story about a dewy garden, a tired little spider, and the storm-wet dawn she was finally too tired to be perfect. For every little one who is hardest on themselves.
Silk wove each night then tore it down. Silk lived in a dewy misty garden. Each thread had to be perfect.
One crooked strand made her unravel it. Every bug had a home, Silk had threads. The garden slept in homes, Silk in threads.
A moth asked why she never finished. A storm rolled in, too heavy to weave. She decided to let it stay.
Dawn touched one thread and it caught light. Every flaw filled with a thousand tiny stars. The whole garden gathered to see her shine.
Flaws held the light perfection never could.
